About Megan Harrington

Megan Harrington is a passionate and dedicated attorney, specializing in employment law, education discrimination, and Title IX issues. She recently graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in May 2024, following her undergraduate studies at Transylvania University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Sociology in 2021. While in law school, Megan clerked for a small personal injury and civil rights firm based in California, where she built a solid foundation for a career in advocating for those facing discrimination in educational settings, as well as issues related to workplace fairness and civil rights.

Throughout her academic career, Megan developed a strong foundation in legal theory and practical skills, with a particular emphasis on civil rights and anti-discrimination laws. She has a deep passion for Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities and has explored substantial research and writing on the subject. Megan’s experience working on cases involving both employment and education discrimination has fueled her commitment to advancing justice for those who face inequities and mistreatment.

Outside of the office, Megan has an accomplished background in her university and high school choirs, having performed in some of the most prestigious venues around the world, including St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City and Lincoln Center in New York City, as well as performing at the American Choral Directors Association National Conference in February 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She looks forward to continuing in vocal performance. She is also an avid equestrian, competing in the disciplines of eventing and dressage with her horse, Sinatra. Megan also bakes a mean sourdough.

Megan joined Eric Siegel Law in September 2024. Having taken and passed the California and Maryland Bar Exams and been admitted to each jurisdiction. Her application for admission to the District of Columbia Bar is pending. She looks forward to continuing her legal career and making a meaningful impact in the areas of employment law, education rights, and civil liberties.
